It’s the fine balance between defining personal data, and the capacity to use data to build hyper efficient energy economies. In particular, domestic demand side response. The debate will hear from speakers linked to the Pete Project, who have begun to navigate this new path. The subject will be introduced by the evening chair Sam Botterill (EI Committee Member).

The Pete Project are one of the first Innovate UK funded projects that have had to contend with this new paradigm. The project has delivered a GDPR compliant process, just as the general public develop a new level of scepticism on data. The “Clash of Digitalisation” is the now the defining force in the holistic development of global energy.

Speakers will include:

Sam Botterill MSc – Chair

Neil Jones – Upside Energy

Peter Armstrong – Mixergy

Stephen Edwards – Catalyst Housing

Charlie Vey – Powervault
